To create space and opportunity to love people through dance, community, and artistic development.
About the Founder
Proud Omaha Native, Aaron Derell began dancing at sixteen, learning and mimicking moves from movies and music videos. Teaching himself Hip Hop, Aaron developed a love for Hip Hop dance culture that began his journey to become a Dance Educator. After beginning his technical training at Spelman College by way of Morehouse College, in Atlanta, GA, He went on to earn his Masters in Dance Education from NYU.
Aaron has taught for the Alvin Ailey Arts in Education Program, 92Y, the YMCA, and many more. He specializes in teaching the History of Hip Hop Dance, Jazz/Funk and Dance Fitness.
